Resources for Therapists

From time to time, fellow therapists reach out with questions about telehealth practice, working with insurance panels, or how to make private practice feel more sustainable. I’m always glad to connect with colleagues and share what I’ve learned along the way.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to support therapists at different stages of their careers, and I’ve become especially interested in the systems that help make clinical work more manageable over time. I’ve explored a range of practice models and platforms, and have found that different approaches tend to fit different clinicians depending on their goals, preferences, and stage of practice.

Telehealth Practice Platform

In my own work, I’ve found a couple of platforms helpful in supporting insurance-based telehealth practice:

  • Headway – supports therapists with insurance credentialing, billing, and payment processing

  • Grow Therapy – another option that helps streamline working with insurance in telehealth settings

Like any approach to practice, these platforms vary in structure and may not be the right fit for everyone, but they can be useful to explore when considering different ways of working with insurance.

If you're a therapist exploring telehealth or thinking about how to structure your practice, you’re always welcome to reach out. I value connecting with colleagues and sharing ideas about what helps support sustainable, meaningful clinical work.
